Reckon publishes the state-licensing inspection history of every senior housing community we cover. The records come from public regulators. The community does not get to edit them. The summary you read is computed the same way for every community in the database.

We are independent. We do not take operator placements. We do not take referral fees. We do not get paid when a family tours a community or moves a parent in. The conventional senior-living advisor is paid a commission on every move-in, and that commission rises with rent and with the operator's take-rate agreement. The inspection record is the one piece of the picture that does not bend to who is paying. We publish it.

The full data lineage, the scoring weights, and the source documents behind every claim are in the methodology. If a published record looks wrong against the source, write to us on the contact page and we will investigate against the regulator's document.
