ASHA 50 Operators Grading Matrix

The list is the 2026 ASHA 50, published September 8, 2026 by the American Seniors Housing Association with Seniors Housing Business. Ranks reflect holdings as of June 1, 2026, and operator names appear here exactly as ASHA lists them.

Reckon matched communities to operators using state licensee records, community brand names and each operator's own community list. Only matches backed by that evidence are counted; uncertain matches are left out. The matches may be incomplete. An operator that runs communities under an owner's name or a local brand can have communities Reckon has not matched.

Each graded community has a place on its own state's curve: the share of that state's graded facilities that scored higher. A grade cell averages those places for the operator's matched communities whose grade Reckon publishes, then maps the average to a letter on the same bands as a community page (A for the top 20%, B the next 25%, C the next 25%, D the next 20%, F the bottom 10%). Communities with no published grade, such as one with too few recent inspections, are left out. A state with fewer than 50 graded facilities ranks without letters, so its column shows citations.

A citations cell adds up the citations on file for each matched community that has an inspection record and a citation total Reckon publishes, then divides by the number of those communities.

Columns are the states Reckon publishes. Nursing homes are not included.
